We've had a few people ask this question and comment on having problems with importing the Lahman 4.5 database.

The reason is because the keepers of the database have changed its format. This means Markus needs to revise the code that imports the database into OOTP4.

This is on the list of fixes that will make it into the next patch.

So for now keep using the old version of the database.

Yea I noticed that as well, so I got the Rolen Rosters and then tryed to upload the players I wanted from the past from Lahman 4.5. They came in but they all sucked, Bo Jackson was a Pitcher as well as Ernie Banks a 3rd baseman. The Babe was the 1st person i uploaded and he came out a Pitcher so I figured that was how it was supposed to be, about 5 guys later I realized something was weird so I looked at thier ratings and such and they were all messed up.

Patch should be out soon tho, cant wait.
