Rookie Season?
Now I'm not sure of the exact requirement to be considered a rookie but i'm not sure if 10 AB in Sept. counts as your rookie year. This seriously hampers any chance of winning a ROY award.

Nevermind about the ROY comment, i just won it. But it would be nice if my actual rookie card was for that year. But i know that they make cards if someone plays in the year but wasn't considered a rookie. ex Mark McGwire's 1987 Topps card for the baseball year '86 even though he wasn't a rookie until '87 and for some reason the '88 card is worth more.

The requirements are "probably" roughly the same as OOTP which are the ML requirements. Somthing like 120 AB but not sure what the IP is.

In order to qualify for Rookie of the Year, you must not exceed 130 At Bats, 50 innings pitched, or 45 days on the active roster. This is why September call ups are not officially "rookies" and therefore are still eligible the next year.

A player's rookie season is when they reach 130 AB/50 IP unless the requirement is met in a season in which the player had fewer AB/IP than an earlier season, in which case the season with the most AB/IP is the rookie season.

In other words, Randy should remove his first "not" or explain how Dontrelle Willis was eligible with 160 IP.
