Adding additional nationalities to ootp4

Is there any safe & easy method to expand the number of nations from which players are drafted from? I would like to, if possible, include Panama, Curacao, and the U.S. Virgin Islands to the game's database somehow in the hope that the game will generate the occasional draft pick from those regions.

The appropriate files must be tucked away somewhere in the ootp4 folder that randomly determine the nationality of all fictional players generated. However, I'm not sure if they're safe to edit. Has anyone else tried this already?

while you can change the names, I don't think the nationalities the game chooses from is (easily) customizable.

looks like that's built into the executable itself, not one of the data files.

Isn't there a download out there than has a ton of original names (and I thought Birthplaces). A name generator of sorts? Is it on Big City Baseball or a similar site? I could be wrong about the birthplace part, but worth looking into. Hope it helps a little bit.
