Incidentally I had 1.18 show up just fine for the version number. Installed the patch, deleted the add "title bout championship boxing" part it puts after the directory and that was that.

Yes, that's the only problem here- the installer just adds the default directory to the selected target directory, and you have to manually edit the path to point to your original program directory. That's all.

These beta tests we are doing are great, but not everyone wants things to go wrong in there own TBCB. Lets not forget that some people know nothing about changing files, paths etc etc.

Danny, it's a beta test! Only those people should join who know how to make backups and so on, and on their own risk. I mean, everybody knows what a beta test is... And of course I would like to make it the release version, but before I can do it, we have to get rid of these bugs in the installer and every other bug. I will try to get some help on the Wise support page, but that's difficult too... Hey, can you imagine that: The installer tool is not cheap, and shall not do anything more than to install programs, and it fails when only selecting a folder!! That should be a basic feature IMO- LOL, I have to visit their forum and tell them what I think about that.

Well, complex software sometimes has basic features hidden very well... finally found the problem in the Wise Knowledgebase. A new update file is uploaded to http://www.mirror1.ootpdevelopments....patch_1.2.exe.

Please try this one and give me your feedback.

Attention! It's still beta, you're using it on your own risk, you will still have to make a backup (well, actually all of us should always make backups of everything).

I was deleting that default directory. However, I had downloaded the new 1.1.8 version to my temp download directory where I had an old copy of 1.1.7. For some strange reason it did not ask me if I wanted it to overwrite the old version and so I was simply installing 1.1.7 over and over again. It appeared that it downloaded 1.1.8 OK -- but it actually kept 1.1.7 on my HD.

BTW, I think I have at least 10 copies of my HW_Legends database! I don't fool around with backups! I have three hard drives and one burner.

Knowing how many time & work you put into your Mod, I assume that you're making backups LOL! Just wanted to mention it to make sure that anybody does it... For games, it's pretty unusual to make backups. Most gamers don't do it I guess, and that's OK, as long as they can life with losing the data in case of software bugs or hardware defects.

Andrea, I downloaded 1.1.8 without a problem on both my pc and laptop. 1.1.8 showed up on both. Do I need to download the 1.2 exe above?

No, the file is just already called tb_patch_1.2.exe because this will be the name after beta testing.

I downloaded and installed the patch ok on both my computers and it showed version 1.1.8 in the main game screen when you open up.

If you select "Open as XML" on the fighter records page, the record will be displayed using the browser, which supports printing.
