World Series
Hi all,
Just wondered if anything like this has ever been suggested: A virtual World Series of OOTP which runs annually (eg after the real world series). Each league that registered an interest would be allowed to put forward their best player (or players) of the past 12 months. The World Series would be run over a 2 week period, simming a total of ten seasons (for example). There would then be a scoring system in place to decide who was the OOTP world champion that year. I have more detailed ideas in place for how this would be run, but I just wanted to know if there was already something like this - and if not, are there any OOTP players/League commisioners (commish's in particular) who think this would be a good idea? If anyone wants to e-mail me about this then I am at marlingram@hotmail.com Cheers, Graham |

At least a couple of online OotP leagues in the past have used players imported from other online OotP leagues. They had different formats, but they did ask online leagues to submit choice players to make All-star type teams.

I set up a world cup tournament during the summer last year, where 12 online leagues submitted an allstar roster in which I imported into a league file and simulated 10 round robin games and a ladder tournament. It was a lot of fun, since there were so much talent and good player around. However ever since school started, I havn't found the time to set it up again.
