NEED HELP w/ Title Fight 2001 & XP PLEASE!!!
To whomever can help me
I have a brother-in-law who just recently got a brand new PC and the new pc has XP on it... he specificly bought the new pc so that he could better enjoy playing Title Fight 2001, but to his surprise when he tried to install his program on the new and better pc... it tells him that it is no compatable. This has upset him so much that he is thinking of returning the new pc and going back to the older pc, so that he can play his favorite game, title fight 2001 again. PLEASE HELP ME WITH A PATCH OR LINK TO PATCH OR FIX OR SOMETHING... please... He is one of the biggest fans of title fight 2001 and brags about how great the game is all the time and I'd just like to get him fixed up on XP so that he can play again. Please let me know what to do and or email me and advise me. Thank you for your time and insight, Have a great day! |

It is possible to play TF2001 on an XP system. You will need to
talk to either Jim or Tom to see if they can get you the files needed. I would suggest moving up to the newer version though. I havent tried it, but it does have the ability to import a TF2001 database into TBCB. Someone else should be able to post and tell you how that has worked for them. I would recommend holding onto the pc. |

Please tell he did retry downloading the file and didn't immediately write it off? I've had that with programs where the connection crapped before it finished. It will either flat out not run, or generate some weird message like that.
As someone who is running the game on XP, I can assure you, it works. |

I have a question, Does he have all of the service packages on it that you know of? If not he needs them for games to work. Make sure he has direct x as well. I know some of this you may already know, but sometimes we overlook things or just forget.
Hope you can get it resolved! |
