I want news!!!

Basically I am trying to say I want to hear news on OOTP 6. Let's hear an update Markus. How's the progression going with the game? Are any of the ideas you had planned are actually working?

Give us something, I am dying here waiting to hear about this game.

Coming from a long time OOTP player (Too long if you ask me)

He responded to a post of mine on the ITP boards and said he was very busy after not posting much on the boards lately. I am sure he is working diligently on 6

Although I don't post on this board often, I am anxiously awaiting OOTP6. I can, however, wait for Markus to give us some information on his own terms.

OOTP games are usually released right around opening day...not the first day the players air out their cups.....

Guys... OOTP has usually been released somewhere between early March (earliest) and late April (latest). That's a 60 day window. Knowing that Markus would like to release as early as possible, the only information we can give you is sometime between March 1st and and April 30th - if all goes according to plan. Add to that that we want to be certain that the game is as solid as possible upon release, and you can begin to see that stating a release date at this point would be folly.

I'd much rather have him working hard on the game than posting here all day. Yes, I love hearing updates, but the more time put into the game, the better the wait will be.

True however I would just like to hear something like,

"New engine works" or "The following is in the process of being developed."

Just a teaser and a one time teaser

I am not asking for a weekly update... Just the progression of the game,

Last time he posted about the game was in August

You probably won't see this type of feedback, because nothing is cleared "to work" until it gets through Beta testing. By that time, we're closing in on release. The usual timeframe is a message from Markus including screenshots. This might happen only once or sometimes twice before the release of the game.

Actually... last year it came out on February 28th I believe... meaning there is actually a 61 day window!

Henry,

With a a whole new engine, tell Markus that later will be better!

I just want to make sure he goes over everything before he pops this out.

That said even as an OOTP junkie, I never buy until a month later, to see the comments and bugs and if they are adverse to historical timelines.
