My favorite moment is when #4 of the Pats, my boy Vinateri, kicks the Game winning FG in superbowl 36!

Baseball - Dennis Eckersley (as an Indian)
Football - Dan Marino Basketball - Dr. J Hockey - Steve Eruzione Boxing - "Marvelous" Marvin Hagler Auto Racing - AJ Foyt, but I really don't care Favorite moment in sports history you witnessed live or on TV - Personally watching Ohio State beat the crap out of Michigan in 1994, followed closely by watching Eddie George run for 300 and some yards against Illinois, wrapping up his Heisman in 1995.

I only care about baseball, so...
Baseball - Mookie Wilson. You said go with your heart, so that's my choice. He may not have put up monster numbers, but as a Mets fan in the 80s, I have fond memories of seeing the Mookster, as we would call him. His son Preston is doing pretty well these days, but I'd take Mookie and his little roller to first base in Game 6 of the '86 Series any day.

Baseball - Mike Schmidt.... grew up in Phillie-land, and #20 was the best of them all. The win in 1980 (when I was in third grade) was the best sports memory of my childhood.
Football - Never been that much of a fan - liked the L.A. Rams back in the day.... Henry Ellard might be at the top of the list. Special mention to Joe Montana, who was the sports figure I most loved to hate, but miss now that he's gone. Basketball - Magic Johnson, of course. I remember crying the day he announced that he was HIV positive. For L.A. sports fans, this was a "remember where you were" day, like the Kennedy assassination, the Challenger disaster, and 9/11. Hockey - Wild Wing, of course. Greatest Sports Moment - I've got several. First of all, I've always been a sucker for the Olympics - Greg Louganis' comeback win in 1988 was great, as was that win by the American wrestler (whose name, sadly, escapes me) in 1996. Also, the Kirk Gibson home run in 1988 was a once-in-a-lifetime experience. But I'm going to have to go with Scott Spiezio's long, long fly ball that never came down in Game 6. The most magical play of a magical season.
