Surprise! Owner Needed!
The ACL is in need of an owner for the Kansas City Royals. The Royals are a young team (I think), showing a lot of promise (perhaps). Led by American League batting champion Nap Lajoie and the exciting batsman/speedster Odibe McDowell, the Royals need just the right tweaking to get them to a level where they have never been.
The ACL is a non-profit organization run for the pleasure of it's owners. The commissioner spends oodles of money every season to ensure the finest sim offered. The owners spend and do nothing, allowing them to succeed at being the leeches that they are. The ACL is now completing it's 12th season with the World Series. After that is our annual all-expenses paid convention in Akron and the off-season activities for our lucky 13th season. If you are interested, check out the site, the rules, your head. If you are still interested drop the beloved commissioner an email. There is even a link on the site that says, "email commish" (or something like that) to make the task oh so easy. Thank you. |

Great league! I am not saying that just because I am coming off a World Series win over the piddly Dodgers in '11 and now the hapless Reds in '14
![]() Oh yeah, George Herman Ruth enters the rookie pool! P.S. The latest front page article is another MKing classic. |

The position was quickly filled. I didn't think anyone cared. I was touched by the outpouring of love for the Kansas City Royals.
The main mission of the Royals is to crush the AlvaPaleHose(TM). |

I was just going to say the same - is it bad to wish owner turnover on a league so we can read the recruitment posts.

What some of you may not know is that mking's new avatar is actually a picture of the Kingster back in his heyday as the Mid Texas Middleweight Champion.
His career contained a win over a very young Cassius Clay but, sadly ended when a low blow from Killer Koslowski took away all his stamina and zest for life, hence his odd sense of humor. |

I've hated this league since 1903. Martin is awful. Why am I still here? WHY O GOD WHY!
ps...Martin is really Tony Danza. |
