CG explosion!

Our league DBLC has seen a dramatic increase in CG's this season over previous seasons. Right now we have a pitcher Chris George who has completed a record 31 games! I've done a little research on the history of our league back to the innagural 2001 season and found the following:

1) There are currently 57 players with at least 10 CG's this season.

-In 2001 there were 4 players with at least 10 CG's. Chris George was one of those with 13.
-In 2010 there was just 1 player in all of the DBLC with at least 10 CG's...Chris George with 14!

2) Among the career leaders in CG's are the following players who have never come close to George's record for a single season:

-Holloman 16
-Prior 11
-Hudson 12
-B.Anderson 11
-Martinez 13

3) Paul Brown and Chris George are not the only pitchers having career seasons for stamina. The following are top DBLC pitchers setting career highs for CG's this season!

-Capuano 15
-Levrault 13
-Karp 11
-Diaz 12
-Pantano 15
-Moore 14
-Randall 11
-Gomez 18

Just to name a few

4) There are also entire pitching staffs who have pitchers who individually have set career marks for complete games. The RedSox and A's are two such teams.

RedSox:
-Gomez 18
-Cao 16
-Inge 13
-Fowler 12
-Grajeda 9*

A's:
-Mallory 17
-Farias 13
-Durante 12
-Villicana 11
-Wible 7

*Grajeda accomplished his feat of 9 complete games this season despite his "E" rating for SP stamina.

I guess this is the "Year of the Finisher"

Incidently the league uses "Modern Baseball" Era where pitcher endurace is "Fair".

Also I checked the sliders of several teams in the league and while several teams have sliders on their pitchers set to "Slow" for pulling pitchers, other teams (including the A's) have closer to average "pull" tendency.

Does anyone know if the team sliders tend to take precedence over the individual player slider?

Example:

Oakland has set their team slider to +2 on the team slider bar. Individually their 5 top starters have these sliders: 0,0,0,0,0

They have completed 60 games (3rd in AL) this season despite the fact that no pitcer on the staff has a duration greater than a "B".

Anyway. Lots of information. Perhaps the start of a study...hmmmm
