Hehe or a "loft" rating to determine how easy it is to throw from the box to the mound when the pitcher dings you.

LOL!!!

Good one. I can't wait until my right eye gets better. It looks like everyone is having a great time with this game.

If I wasn't having trouble reading with this eye problem, I'd be in the thick of things.

ITP is a great game, with a lot of potential.

What happened to your eye, if you don't mind my asking? (I lost my right eye in an accident 4 years ago)

Angry WONDERBOY trauma (x2)

The sadness! I saw the WONDERBOY at age 26, just as I hit my prime. Bid $25,000,000 on it, and was the sole bidder all the way until the end. I checked it every day. And then I didn't win the auction.

(THOUGHT: I'd like a notification of some sort that there's bidding going on, or that I'm about to lose. Can the day's schedule be interrupted mid-way through so I can possibly jump in and outbid the competitor?)

Now, at age 32, I see the WONDERBOY again. This time, I take no chances and bid $50,000,000. I consider bidding my entire bank just to be sure, but hold on at $50M. I win the auction easily, but get the error message "there's no room in your inventory."

I had seen a post about this concern before, so I made sure there was space -- I have ONE glove, ONE pair of shoes, ONE bat, ONE pair of batting gloves and NO books. Plenty of room.

Apparently, you need the physical GRAPHIC space on the screen. It's not just available slots for things, it's the arrangement of the things on the screen.

This is very frustrating. Also, I can't seem to simply move my items to make space. I had to sell items and buy new ones just to locate them in a better arrangement on the screen.

SUGGESTION: Once you've purchased items, maybe the inventory can be a list of text instead of big graphics. This makes the available space more organized, and you won't have to worry about losing auctions like this.

SUGGESTION #2: When I lost the auction the second time, I had no opportunity to "sell some of your stuff to make room for the WONDERBOY." Maybe there can be a chance so I don't have to wait another six years to see the item again...?

SUGGESTION #3: If you win the auction but can't house the merchandise, the auction begins again, and you can re-bid (after adjusting your inventory).

I seem to remember seeing the big bats (Predator, Teddy Ballgame and WonderBoy) a lot when I was in the minors and couldn't afford them, but once I got to the majors, pretty infrequently. Maybe the game is set to tease you.

I ended up buying Predator when I was 30 and played everyday until I was 39, making the HOF, so I can't complain.

One bit of advice...the Sport Store normally stocks 12 or 13 bats, and I only remember seeing these super bats when it said they had 14 bats in stock that week. So you can just go in and look at the number to see if one of them might be there, instead of scrolling through the inventory every time. They always seem to be bat #14.

As far as BBay, the super bats seem to appear in the middle to late part of the season. And you will overpay for them competing with the other "bidders", so try to snag them in the store.

Personally I prefer the way it is now. There's nothing stopping you from outbidding the computer if you have the money, so I think it makes it too easy if we were able to place the final bid. If you want the item, you should be prepared to overbid just in case, or lose it and wait.

You should be able to move things around, but I like the graphics. Maybe more room too. I mean, if it were really your home where the inventory is stored, you'd find way to make room to keep it.

This sounds like a good idea...except that maybe you should know to sell your stuff the day ahead of time and take the chance, again, making it a bit of a challenge.

Well if you're allowed to move things around, or have more room, I wouldn't want to see this, because like I said it might be a bit too easy. However, if things remain how they are and you can't move your stuff, I wouldn't mind seeing this implemented - although a case can be made that says if you can't purchase something, it would go the second highest bidder.

While some of your suggestions have promise, some of them may make the game a bit too easy for some, I am one of them. I think the game is somewhat too easy as it is, I wouldn't want things to make it any easier.
