For the 6th consecutive season a different team has claimed the TSTBL World Series title:

2012: Salt Lake City Stingers
2011: Tacoma Rainiers
2010: Louisville RiverBats
2009: Portland Beavers
2008: Colorado Springs
2007: Memphis Redbirds
2006: Portland Beavers
2005: Toledo Mudhens
2004: Portland Beavers
2003: Toledo Mudhens
2002: Colorado Springs SkySox

Congratulations to Woody for a great job guiding the Stingers to the title.

The TSTBL is in the 2013 pre-season, the league's 12th season. We're a fairly fast simming league, having completed 11 seasons since August 2, 2002, and also have a great core group of owners who submit rosters at a rate of just a hair under 90%. We sim three times a week and have not missed a sim in our 16+ month history. As the commissioner I have never owned a team in this league. I need your help to avoid doing so.

The league has just started the free agency period and is in need of a pair of owners. These teams are without owners as their leaders have had to step down this off-season due to increasing work responsibilities for one and relocation/travel for another. The teams available are the Iowa Cubs and Las Vegas 51's.

Ok, so maybe the Cubs and 51's aren't going to be favorites to make a World Series appearance this season, but this is your opportunity to get into a solid, reliable league that has built a solid base and history and doesn't plan on going away anytime soon.
