Ten years into my career, I was traded for the first time!
In a deadline deal, I, a Gold Glove 2B with an .800 OPS was sent from Colorado to Milwaukee for P Oscar Young. Young is a middle reliever with 193 career innings, and a 3.58 ERA. He also has 183 hits and 178 strikeouts. I will be a free agent after the season, while Young still has about three years do go before free agency. Milwaukee is in 4th place, with a sub-.500 record and nine games out. I still have yet to play in the playoffs, despite the Rockies finishing a close 2nd place for three years. We end up in 4th place. The Colorado air no longer around me, I finish my worst season, at .235 and 17 HR.

I did the wrong thing and signed with the Mets! I have a terrible contact rating, so I imagine I will hit about .200 at Shea. Damn me for being a Mets fan, I should have gone to Enron.

Disaster!
The Mets seemed to have signed two good 2Bs this offseason. I am the second best of the two, and I appear to be slated to start only against LHP. Damn the Wilpons!

Heartless Mets! They acquire the best 2B in baseball the next year. I find myself demoted to AAA, but after three games, I am traded to Los Angeles.
Lazaro Suarez, Reliever, 30 yrs goes to NY. He is a rather poor middle reliever coming off a career year in 2013. I find that I will play every day and lead off for the Dodgers. Hooray!

Amazing. After playing .500 ball for the first month, Los Angeles makes a run and finishes with the best record in the National League.
I am injured for over a month of the season, but I finish with a respectable year. But my power has been sapped, hitting only 9 HR, dropping from 23 at Shea the prior year. Ironically, I will now face the NY Mets in the first round of the playoffs.

I was traded during my first season in single A, away from my Orioles to the Blue Jays for a 1B. In my second season, I started in the Toronto double A and moved up to triple A, and up to the Majors in September. Too bad Toronto is in 4th, lol. I might sign back with the Orioles after my contract is up.

In Game 3 of the Playoffs, I hit a two run homer in the 10th inning off the man I was traded for, Lazaro Suarez. Unfortunately, my team drops the ball in the bottom of the 10th, and we lose the series 3-1.

Just a reminder here. Its Minute Maid Park not Enron. (Astros fan OF COURSE)

No wonder they didn't want me! And I was calling them the Colt .45s the whole time too!

My first career ends well. .249 lifetime average, 221 home runs, 674 RBI. I won two gold gloves and one championship. I made the leaderboards twice, once early in my career with 40 home runs, and once later in my career with 9 triples.

I was traded my second professional season from the Tigers to the Yankees. Normally, that would make people jump for joy, but I'm a Red Sox fan. We played Boston in the ALCS that year too

I was traded not once, not twice but three times during my third big league season. From Atlanta to Detroit on 7-1-06. Detroit had me pitch one game then traded me to Pittburgh on 7-10-06. Pittasburgh pitched me one game then they traded me to Los Angeles on 7-20-06. No respect I tell you. I ended up winning 19 games that year.

I got traded from the Expos to the Mariners, then went to the World Series. Montreal finished last that season.
Then, I started it over with OOTP5 logos, players, coaches, and ammy draft players. I like how these two games are interchangeable... just make sure you don't transfer all the .dat files, or you'll get drafted by the same team on June 1st every year.

I have been traded twice in my short career (7 yrs) in deadline deals to teams that were in the playoff hunt. Yankees (my original team) sent me to Kansas City for Mike Maroth (9-11 4.45 ERA 187 IP 123 K 29 GS). And the second time from Kansas City to Atlanta for 2 prospects. Have not yet been to the World Series.

I'm with my 5th club in as many seasons.
Drafted by the Expos, 2nd round pick, mysteriously released in April on my second season, while already in AAA. Signed by KC a week later, jumped to the big leagues a couple of months later. After 2 seasons there, I'm traded to Milwaukee for the 2nd best prospect in the league, and midway through to my 2nd season in Milwaukee (5th season total), I'm traded to Toronto, who after a game trade me to Baltimore. KC and Milwaukee were in the playoffs this year, while the Orioles lost 99 games. I always seem to be the 4th outfielder, playing vs LHP, but it seems like teams see that I should be playing everyday, then trade me. |

Well
I was drafted #2 overall by the Brewers and after a couple seasons in the minors and some brief stints in the majors I was sent to Colorado for 2 SP's. I then went on to make the allstar team my first full season, the next season I was hitting .343 and was in 1st place before I broke my knee and now I am done for the year.
Damn.... |
