- Holds on to #1 seed in the East, home field throughout the playoffs
- Offense comes out of the cold streak ... mostly
- No major injuries (or cold key players) heading into the playoffs

- Fabiaschi is gone for the rest if the season
- The Boars call up 3A CL Nate Sperling for the remainder of the season

- 1-2 at home vs Carolina
- 1-2 on the road vs 2nd place Georgia
- Birmingham finishes the season on a high note, sweeping Nashville 4-0 at home

- A healthy Gotham overtakes DC in the final month of the season.

- Motor City wins the Great Lakes Division and emerges as a serious contender for the title, leading the East in RunDiff
- Indiana and Toronto take the 2 wildcard spots
- Ohio was next in line for the wildcard

- Birmingham limped to the finish line with a losing record in September
- The Boars manage to hold on to the best record in the East, securing both a 1st round postseason bye and home-field advantage throughout
- This is the first postseason appearance for Birmingham

- The defending champions endure a rash of serious injuries to key players to win the division and give themselves a chance to defend their title

- Sacramento wins the division
- San Diego makes the postseason, because of course they do. No amount of pitching injuries can ever keep SD out of the postseason.
