In the meantime, seems like using the Quickstart rather than the template works best. The rosters for JPBO are pre filled and the MLB rosters are at least somewhat up to date.

out of curiousity, before I pay 70 bucks to get my hands on 2026 ratings for the real life variant of this mod, does anyone plan to update this with real players? Otherwise I guess I am buying Pro Spirit 2026

Nope, no interest in bringing real players in outside of those in the licensed MLBPA+WBC dataset. Go for ProSpi, and let me know how it is.

How can I add the league with the template and include its players? When I generate a save in an MLB universe, JPBO is either empty or generates high-quality players that are between age 18-24 only. I am confused.

I extracted the JPBO rosters from the quickstart. When I imported them into a new .76 game after applying the template, only around half of the players showed up. They were all 20-27 years old and did not exceed 2-star potential. The JR JPBO rosters did not import at all. I am confused.

Make that two of us, willboat75. The league template intentionally has only the league structure with no players; the quickstart has the players that are in the MLBP+WBC data set and fictional folks to flesh out the roster.

Are you trying to add the league to an existing save?
