Changing Attendance

Can you change the attendance baseline numbers for the entire league once a season is underway?

Pretty sure that's one of the financials that you can change at any time.

I tried doing it during a season I'm playing and nothing changed. Is this something that can only be done in preseason?

How much are you trying to change it by? Higher or lower? Small changes could be pretty difficult to notice when you take into account the season ticket sales that have already happened.

Twice as high. However, the attendance figures remain the same as when I started the season.

Interesting, I could have sworn that it could be changed on the fly. Might be something that changed. I know there were changes made to how closely average attendance would stick to that baseline figure a couple versions ago.

Quickie test on one of my leagues. I made a copy of it on the first day of preseason, so there was already a bunch of offseason season tickets purchased already.

Test 1 - no changes to my league settings
League attendance: 1,073,055

Re-ran test 1 again for fun
League attendance: 1,101,279

Test 2 - increased attendance baseline by 25% in preseason
League attendance: 1,228,282

Test 3 - increased baseline by 25% at the halfway point
League attendance: 1,157,250

Looks like it has an immediate effect. I'm guessing that by doubling the baseline you may have caused a problem, that would likely put the average attendance higher than stadium capacities, the game may not like that?
