Billy Cotton - 1972 Mets
I'm told that in 1972, he was on the roster and never played...
A catcher from Arizona State. (Jace, the others I zipped up for you - older models) Last edited by Buster Narum; 07-24-2026 at 07:58 PM. |

[QUOTE=BklynJace;5273051]
... but I suspect that knowing an image is AI beforehand is putting a finger on the scale. Kind of like the CGI Governor Tarkin from Rogue One -- the complaints were from people who knew Peter Cushing was long dead and that couldn't be him. People who had no idea Cushing was dead largely didn't notice anything was strange. That's a great observation - when you know it's AI, there's a bias. Another thing to try is this: line up all the photos of a player in your collection and take note. In many cases, the faces can look fairly different across the whole spread, at least to some degree. AI will be no different, even though some images will really ring the bell and others won't. Last edited by Buster Narum; 07-25-2026 at 05:02 AM. |

Absolutely fantastic ! If you have the time, please consider his brother Bob, a 1966 Red Sox pitcher, a 1975 Ed Brinkman (NYY), a 1967 NY Met Hal Reniff, or a 1967 Twins Carroll Hardy ( the only player who pinch hit for Ted Williams AND Carl Yastrzemski). THANKS!

Great work! These pics are fantastic. If you have time, I would like Donn Clendenon, Expos 1969...38 games.

Bob Sadowski - 1966 Red Sox
Sadowski pitched in 11 games to finish up his career with Boston in 1966.
There was another Bob Sadowski who played from 1960 through 1963 (3B-OF-2B), finishing with the Angels in 1963. So for 1963, the two Bob Sadowskis were in MLB at the same time. Last edited by Buster Narum; Yesterday at 06:43 AM. |
