Start Unemployed Button Doesn't Work

When I started a new fictional league and pressed the start unemployed line, nothing happened and the game, itself, disappeared. Is this an error in the game itself or something else?

How are you setting up your games? Are these new MLB games, historical leagues, fictional leagues? Are you going through the advanced setup?

We may need to know the steps you took in the setup, to understand what is happening in your game.

What if you just don't select a team and move on?

Matt,
I'm just creating a regular fictional game. I've tried using the Wizard and the advanced setup. No matter what I do, even just starting the game without selecting any team, I'm simply taken right back to my desktop. When I go back in and click on reload, the game is listed, but, again, clicking on it takes me back to my desktop.

It feels like there may be a disk issue, or maybe a permissions issue going on. If you can enable trace mode (https://forums.ootpdevelopments.com/...91&postcount=9) and send us trade files from creating and/or loading these games, that might help to narrow down the situation going on.

Do normal MLB games work if you don't select a team? Or also do any of these setups work if you do select a team as well?

Thanks for your help. I don't really know how to send trade files or enable trace mode; I think there's just a bug. I've been able to play both an historical season and the regular MLB season without any trouble (I've always selected a team). I'll probably just wait awhile and buy OOTP 27.
