Bob MacDonald (macdon001rob) facial type in the game is Hispanic, I highly doubt he is and it's certainly an error. He is at the best of my knowledge Caucasian.

For some reason Hercules Burnett imports with an 1859 birth year even though B Ref says he was actually born in 1865.

And actually the comment above reminds me of one more thing, for some reason whenever I play a historical sim it randomly makes players from these few random towns that they aren't actually from in real life and more than half the time it's always either some place called The Plains, Ohio or Murphy, Texas, along with a few others but those two are the ones it does most. Do you know what may be causing it?

He has always had the correct DOB in the database. If the year is off it is because the year adjusts depending on what age you are importing him at and what the destination year is.

Yeah, that small town isn't in the database. I can look for the closest city that is to at least get him in the correct state.

I've seen that too. Next time, give me a few names that have the issue and I can look for a commonality and thus a potential cause.

Move him to Mobile. He met and played there with Cleon Jones. Tommie was my first favorite player. A book named Mets from Mobile about the two of them was in my school library.

I have been playing this game for years so I am aware that the birth year adjusts according to when you import a player and that wasn't the case here. I imported 4 Hercules Burnett's into the game and half randomly had the 1859 birth year and the other 2 had the correct one. I changed nothing when entering the information to import him so could this be a problem my my game in particular?

Give the ID used and the year of him imported and the year the game is in so it can be replicated. All I can tell you is the DOB has never been wrong in the database itself.

I have a fictional league where I'm playing in 1881 and using random players for filler for the minor leagues, and decided to start them all super young, and so he would have been around 15 then and I made his historical year 1881. He wasn't playing yet at that point in time so the stats obviously wouldn't be there but the birth years are always on point for every other player I did this with except for him. I haven't tried importing players to be younger than around 15 or 16 for the lowest level of the minor leagues.

Doug Creek (creek-001pau; creekdo01), from the 90s and 00s, has a batting line for 1941. It's a Rookie league team, NeDo, but I couldn't match the stats on BB-Ref.

D.J. Dozier (dozier001wil) is listed with a Caucasian facial type in the game, he is African American.

A couple of Ray(mond) Smith's appear to be merged. The Catcher from the 80s (smithra01; smith-003ray) imported with his stats, plus the addition of 1950 pitcher Raymond Smith (smith-001ray). There is also a stat line from 1892 for the team "PFC." I couldn't identify the player or ID that line should belong to.

Catcher Ray imported with all the sets of stats (in a 1976 end of year draft import), and in different league the Pitcher Raymond imported a few years ago (probably in a different version of the game).
