FHM12 multi manager league - firings and retirements

very frustrated here, bought fhm12 to use the new cba rules, started a league with a commissioner as well as non-commissioner managers to run their own teams. set those managers to manage all team operations. on league manager screen I made sure each manager had the option "cannot be fired"


also updated several older players, such as Ovechkin and Benn, to aging=40, hoping they wouldn't get marked retired July 1st


Sim fwd from June 30 to July 1st, and sure enough:
- 1/2 of the managers are found to have been fired from their jobs
- several players 33 or older, including Ovechkin and Benn, are marked as retired. as the league commission manager, I can't even edit their player page to unretire them


is there another fix for these quirks? how come the developers haven't addressed them ?

Just wanted to confirm that this happens in all FHM12 online leagues and isn't specific to just this one. I've been putting off reporting it (I also sorta think its funny) but yes, can confirm this is a bug.

The consequences are that the AI goes wild with that team for a day, meaning they'll hire/fire a bunch of staff, maybe buy out some players, submit some UFA offers (it's always July 1st), etc. Also, scouting reports get wiped out for that GM profile and it's always just a couple days before the draft, so that's a big bummer for the GM.

Regarding the fireing of human GM´s in Online Leagues: that will be fixed in FHM 13.

Regarding the retirement of players: I think that works kind of realistic in FHM, so we keep it as it is (unless we get more feedback on this).
