A's played 6 games this week in Vegas. 112 runs total. Including 23 yesterday by Colorado, the team w/the worst record. That 23 was a team record for the Rockies.

Think about it.......a team playing their 33rd season in Coors Field set a team record on the road. And I know Vegas is building their stadium on a small footprint. So how far can they put the outfield walls from home plate?

Easy, just increase the gravity factor to 1.15 and watch those dollars flow, or whatever else Rob Numbfred and the rest of MLB's senile leadership thinks they're doing.

Btw, Ronny Mauricio got the error on that throw yesterday. And not only did his impression of "fielding" lead to all the Cubs' three (unearned) runs in regulation, he also got his manager fired (okay, that was coming anyway as the dimwit Stearns needs to cover his bottoms).

Vientos is in his fifth season, and his fourth with a negative WAR.

He's a catastrophic failure at third base, and he's a catastrophic failure at first base.

The stupid, braindead Mets have the FAKE POSITION to play with, but they keep running THAT GUY out there.

The only time Vientos should be allowed to wear a baseball glove, should be Halloween, going around the neighborhood and strike fear into the hearts of little boys on Long Island!!!

That random quite-good 2024 season with 27 dingers aside, he's also a catastrophic failure with the stick. As in the clip, he literally swings at baseballs that are about to tear one of his ******* legs off. He has no clutch. He grounds out to short with the bases loaded with the absolute best of them (also yesterday, last out of the inning!).

The worst thing of all, he probably thinks he has "swag", or whatever. No, you don't! You're some random, replacement-level-my-*** dolt that the Mets found somewhere in their minor league system, didn't particularly remember drafting or signing, and now somehow feel entitled to run out there every day to a position you're physically unable to play even semi-competently. For seven years, all the loudmouths kept ******** on Pete Alonso for not being a good defender - but Pete was never on pace for 17 errors at first base over a 162-game season, and they're not even charging Vientos with the ones he deserves...!!

And they'll keep running him out there. Like they ran out Amed Rosario at short for 3+ rage-inducing seasons. (Rosario was even worse, because he clearly doesn't give a ****, which I don't think is true for Vientos. He just can't ******* play baseball above Beer League level.)

I hate Mark Vientos.

I loathe Mark Vientos.

Keith Hernandez says "...and here's the Mets defense", and I see Vientos at first, and I know they're gonna lose another one.

If there's one thing that will bring Brewers and Mets fans together, it's the downfall of Stearns. I wish you guys would roast him more in the Mets thread.
