SimLeaguesPro Website Update + Free Pilot Program for one Online League!
Hello everyone, I wanted to share a major update to SimLeaguesPro, my new cloud platform built specifically for online simulation sports leagues.
Over the past year the project has evolved into something much bigger than I originally envisioned, and the website has been completely refreshed with new screenshots, feature details and the ongoing Road to 1.0 development blog. The Online League Operating System One thing became very clear while building SimLeaguesPro. Most online leagues don't struggle because they lack statistics. Stats+ already does an outstanding job with league statistics, reports and historical analysis. Instead, many leagues struggle with keeping owners engaged between sims, recruiting replacements when teams open up, communicating with members, and giving their league a place that feels like home. That's exactly where SimLeaguesPro fits. The platform is designed to work alongside Stats+, giving leagues a complete online league experience. Stats+

Built for Commissioners...and Owners Current features include:
The goal isn't simply to provide another website. It's to give commissioners better tools to grow active leagues while giving owners more reasons to visit between sims. Early Adopter Program I'm currently looking for a small number of established online leagues interested in becoming early adopters. Participating leagues receive full access to SimLeaguesPro at no cost while helping shape the platform through real-world use and feedback. I'm especially interested in leagues that already use Stats+ and would like to enhance the overall league experience without changing their existing workflow. Learn More Website https://www.simleaguespro.com Road to 1.0 Blog https://www.jfox015.com/code/simleag...o-road-to-1-0/ Discord https://discord.gg/PnJj4BvC2 As always, thank you to everyone who has offered feedback throughout development. Many of the ideas already implemented have come directly from discussions here on the forums, and I'm excited to continue refining the platform with the community as we move toward the 1.0 release.

I just published Part 1 of a new blog series: SimLeaguesPro – The Road to 1.0.
This first article explains what SimLeaguesPro is, why I decided to build it, and the gap it is designed to fill in the online league world . If you’ve ever run an OOTP online league, you know the routine:

This is ambitious!
I have a couple questions. What do you expect the price to be after the free period? Do commissioners still run the sim locally on their system?

Hello Commissioners and League Owners,
Part 2 of the Road to 1.0 series is now live: League Hosting and Commissioner Tools This article focuses on the operational side of running online leagues and covers topics such as: - Commissioner workflows - Recruitment tools - League operations and data imports - Owner engagement - Cloud storage options - HTML report hosting - Export tracking One thing this article makes clear is that SimLeaguesPro is not intended to replace tools many commissioners already rely on, such as Stats+. Instead, it's designed to work alongside existing tools as the Online League Operating System—connecting league operations, community engagement, recruitment, content, and fantasy features into one platform. I'd love feedback from commissioners, specifically:

Thank you. My personal motto is go big or go home. Markus and Andreas can attest to that.
![]() Good question. I have some prices up on the site right now that are my introductory calculations. I'm hoping to work with a couple pilot leagues to see some real usage with different sized leagues to make sure it's accurate. Any leagues that join as a pilot before the 1.0 release get to use the site for FREE for the duration of the pilot. All i ask is to give me lots of honest feedback and report any bugs to me. Yes. The site works similarly to StatsLab and Stats+ that you run your sims using your OOTP game and upload you data exports to the site to populate it with your leagues data. The Road to 1.0 Part 2 talks about this. The uploaded data populates all the different informational areas of the site and especially powers the Fantasy processing and scoring engine

How does the site support drafts?
Does the site offer any protection against people joining a league with multiple aliases? If so, how?

Right now, just Fantasy Drafts are built in. Regular league drafts take place in the game itself and Stats+ and Statslab have tools to review and analyze the draft already built in.
Owners have full visibility into who is requesting to join and who they approve or possibly reject. You can see the user public profiles. Is this a problem you or others have to deal with often?

I see. Thanks for the feedback! Appreciate it.
The goal honestly is not to replace anything people are using and like because they already work really well. It's mainly to take some operational overhead off commissioners and add more depth to the experience. What you would pay to host a league web site, personal forums or blog is what this site would provide. The Road to 1.0 currently has 8 parts planned and several of the later articles will really dive deeper into what great benefits the site offer outside of league pages, members and uploads. So definitely follow the series.

Road to 1.0 – Part 3 is now available
What Happens Between Sims Matters Most
After years of participating in and running online leagues, I've come to believe the biggest challenge isn't statistics, exports, or reports. It's keeping leagues active between sims. This article explores:
https://www.jfox015.com/2026/06/08/o...ue-experience/ Curious how other commissioners handle engagement between sim days. Your feedback is helpful to the roadmap for the project!

One thing I see is that the opportunity for owners to engage and contribute often isn't there because there really hasn't been anything purpose-built to support it. Commissioners either have to install, configure, and maintain separate content tools, or rely on platforms that weren't designed for online leagues in the first place. Owners then understandably balk if it's confusing or requires a significant amount of extra effort on top of running their team and exporting. The newsfeed in SimLeaguesPro is aimed directly at that problem. It's more like posting a quick thought, reaction, or comment on Facebook or Twitter. Why not just use Facebook or Twitter? Because they're separate platforms. This is built directly into the league experience itself. You check your team scores, browse the latest league news, and post a quick reaction that everyone in the league can see, comment on, and engage with. As far as I know, that's a brand-new concept in the online league space. I realize it's a different approach, and anything new can seem a little odd at first. I've built and run league websites for many years, so a lot of what I'm creating comes from things I've personally wanted to see and use but couldn't find anywhere else. So I decided to build them. ![]() League engagement is actually the entire focus of Road to 1.0 Part 3, and Part 5 will dive deeper into some of the features designed to help leagues build stronger communities and encourage owner participation. If you're curious about the thinking behind it, be sure to check them out.

The web sites and forums might be older concepts for how it was done so I'm bringing a modern spin to those ideas and trying to enable new ways for leagues to engage and keep owners active between sims with this site. Same ability to share info but with a modern spin and mobile friendly UI. Whatever helps leagues share their info, connect with members and help boost league activity is what I'm trying to bring to the community. I'm always curious of ideas and ways that commissioners and league members feel that can all be improved as well.

The Road to 1.0 Part 4 is live!
Road to 1.0 Part 4: Helping Leagues and Team Owners Find Each Other
Every commissioner eventually faces the same reality: owners leave. Not because the league is bad. Life simply happens. Part 4 of the SimLeaguesPro Road to 1.0 series looks at why recruitment remains one of the biggest challenges in online leagues and why discoverability and league visibility have become core parts of the platform vision. Read the article: https://www.jfox015.com/2026/06/15/o...e-recruitment/ How does your league recruit new owners today? How is it working? What would make life easier for you in that regard?

SimLeaguePro: A Change in Direction based on Feedback
Hi All, a quick update on SimLeaguesPro.
After receiving detailed feedback from an experienced online league commissioner who spent time evaluating the site, I've decided to step back and re-evaluate the project's direction before continuing toward a 1.0 launch. The feedback was that the project has been too ambitious and wasn't focused enough on making commissioners' lives easier. And after taking time to think it over, I agree. Rather than continuing with the 1.0 release, I'm going to step back from site development and spend some time running an online league myself as a way to get the full experience of a league commissioner again. I still believe there's value in helping leagues with discovery, recruitment, and providing a simple home for their leagues on the web. I just think I need to focus on one of those aspects and build something much smaller and much easier to adopt first. That's the biggest takeaway from the feedback. I appreciate everyone following the project who have tested it and offered feedback over the past year. Sometimes the best development decision is knowing when to step back before taking the next step forward. This is not an end, it's just a shift in direction. See you out there in the leagues!
