Just when you simulate or when you do something on screens?

Just simulated to the end of the season without any crash so I would need a bit more info to further look into the save.

It happens basically any time the game needs to think. This is my 3rd save and they've all crashed at different places and times. Sometimes It's when launching the game, sometimes it's when loading a save using the "Continue" or "Load Game" menu options. Sometimes it's when I push the "Continue" button in game. Sometimes it's when the game is trying to auto save.

I haven't been able to find a common thread. I've tried running as administrator, in compatibility mode, disabling Steam/Discord overlays, running in windowed mode, uninstalling and reinstalling the game.

I was able to load the save just now. I clicked on a player and then clicked the back button and it closed out to desktop again.

For an added layer of troubleshooting, it could be helpful to enable the debug trace log, see the gif below for how to do that. Once enabled, restart the game and play until you have a crash - then when you experience the crash locate the trace file and either copy the contents here or attach the file.

I never heard of anyone reporting a crash when launching the game (and I don´t know what in the game would cause it). Crashes on save and/or loading are often connected to the use of OneDrive (or something similar). So make sure the game is correctly installed and, if possible, avoid OneDrive.

I will also play around a little bit with your save to see, if I can get it to crash.

I've attached the fhm_trace file. Unfortunately it overwrites itself every launch so when the game closes out I don't have a chance to see why.

I believe I have OneDrive disabled. I was able to sim the upcoming game, but trying to sim the game next game (I think it was vs Seattle) closed the game out.

Tried again and I made it to April 30th, able to save the game, continued to sim and the game closed out at something like "Loading Tournaments"

There is no trace file attached.

After the game closes after the crash you can open the trace file (you just need to do it before you start FHM again).

I just did exactly (at least I think I did) what you did and get no crash: I hit CONTINUE and PLAY GAME, then I simulate the game from the pre-game screen. As I said, no crash (I played the next couple games).

Do you do something else I can try to reproduce?

I think I got the file attached now. All I got to do this time before closeout was start loading the save.
Attached Files
File Type: txt fhm_trace.txt (14.4 KB, 51 views)

Ran my Event Viewer error log through Claude and here's what it spit out.

What to Tell Support
If none of the above works, report to Out of the Park / FHM support. Give them:

The Report Id: e8c916c4-23aa-4e4a-a578-0c2144e3c13e
Whether it crashes on a specific save vs. always
Your OS build (Windows 11, build 26100)
Steps you've already tried

The timestamp 0x69bae9c9 on the exe is very recent, so this could also be a bug introduced in a recent patch — worth checking their forums to see if others are reporting the same crash.

I never heard of anybody to have it crash on game start (and never had it myself). Maybe your install somehow got corrupted, so try a fresh innstall (uninstall the game, delete all related files and then do a fresh install). Make also sure you have correct read/write permissions so loading/saving works.

Then try a new save and see if you can play it without any crashes. Since I was able to continue your save and simulate it to July 1st without any crash makes it hard to really figure out what is happening.
