We waited 4 weeks for THESE missions? They are already all completed and all we get are a bunch of standard and silver packs to gain a bunch of new duplicates. Oh well, maybe there will be something more interesting in the next batch of missions in July

To be exact: 22 standard, 11 silver, and one gold. Basically a one month wait and it took 5-10 minutes to complete them all. I haven't opened them yet but I can assure you I am not hopeful of getting anything.............. other than a boatload of duplicates.

7 non-duplicates out of 204 cards. What a mission day.

And those 7 were silver or lower?

Rewards aren't great, but at least they're proportional. I don't think there were any cards higher than Silver required.

Edit: Just got a Jo Adell card, I'm happy.

Next batch of missions in July? You are being way to nice...i'll say late August.....what a load of BS this was...the part time employee working 4 hours a week on this should be allowed to work more.

Yep. Missions are dead or have been consigned to deep freeze. This set feels like an AI-generated YouTube video. "Create 15-player laundry lists of obscure pre-WWII baseball players organized by team" gets an eerily similar list from CoPilot.

31 packs opened today with 1 non-duplicate player. Should I just hold packs for a few weeks in hopes that they release some new cards? This is the first year I have really put much time into PT. Not sure what the best strategy would be. I know I could sell the dupes to try to build up points but for what? I have completed all but 4 missions and the cards I need are never for sale, if they have even been released. PT has reached the point where it is more of a chore than an enjoying experience right now.

Good question.

My 1st in a packs-only league, and it is clearly difficult to avoid these useless duplicates. And when I get a non-duplicate, the card is worthless.

I personally am waiting for better missions. Tired of 6 of 6 duplicates.

Exactly where I am. This game now feels more like a job than my actual job.

... when the page explodes and dark brown card appears...

My luck changed in last 2-3 weeks.
3 Good 100 pitchers from 150 or so card stash.
Sadly, all having losing records going into the 3rd day of Theme Week.

To the guy who "creates" the missions...Message received. You do not want the casual player or FTP involved in the game any longer...got it...

these missions are fantastic for free to play: lots of money to be made off of them. it's one card, you won't be set far behind at all, and there are a bunch of packs as well.

One of the missions you need 3 perfects, another where 9 out of the 15 cards are clubhouse guys...that were released yesterday...another is 9 out of 10 of cards that were released on Monday...Not so great for the FTP players...What about the 3k non live cards that have no mission attached...Years ago, you could hold onto your non-live cards because they would be in a mission, now not so much..Now you make money of speculating lives...it is what it is...it is like spitting in the wind..

do you want to explain why? these are some of the best designed missions i think they've had all year (and i am not close to finishing them)

missions shouldn't be autocompletes. they should have some easy ones for packs, and some others that motivate pack ripping by having expensive cards that people are looking for.

i made 250k at least from selling cards i had hoarding, and a lot more from selling irons/bronzes that i ripped from packs. you're only hurting yourself, these missions were great.

they will be very cheap soon. idk what folks are expecting. do you want mission that you can complete on day one? that's no fun. you want things to motivate pack ripping.

I thought these missions were fine, a big upgrade from the previous missions this month. And if we saw a set like this every 2 weeks or so, I think people would be happy, because then there might finally be enough missions to bring some balance to the game.

The downside on these missions is that to complete the ultimate mission, you need to complete a mission that needs 3 perfects to complete and another that you can only complete thru Clubhouse points. That's tough sledding for people that don't put any $$$ and don't constantly play tournament. Most will never get that Frank Robinson but forever be two missions short... and with not enough new missions, prices will remain high (Easter Egg)... Too high to be engaging and too high to make me want to spend money.

I am not a big spender on this game. Two years ago I put nothing in. Last year I put $100 and this year I've put $200. I would actually put more in if there were more missions, but I can't put $100 in and complete the Pujols mission even with 6/7 complete because that one card costs literally $100 and that seems bleeping ridiculous. But months later it remains that high. Not because its an amazing card, but because there aren't enough missions to lower the price.

If there were more good missions, I could complete them and get diamond packs or cards that helped me in niche tournaments and keep me interested.
