Info about features in OOTP27
I've inquired twice to the info e-mail address, with no response. A Reddit user told me OOTP 27 can be played in Spanish.
I'm considering upgrading from 24, but this is a key point for me, as I'm trying to earn Spanish and would like to use play-by-play as a learning tool. I've read the info on the release available on the webpage and I see nothing about p-b-p being available in Spanish. Can anyone give me an official answer to this question?

Thank you. Customer service from OOTP is SEVERELY lacking these days.

Could you use Google Translate? Turn on the voice PbP and use headphones to listen to the translation?

Unfortunately, no. I'm a Mac user and audio doesn't work on the Mac (something I only found out while searching for answers on Reddit). Using Google Translate sort of defeats my purpose. I'm trying to learn the language better in real situations. Thanks for the suggestions, though. I'm surprised how few of these games offer Spanish translation. Seems like a wide-open stretch of the market (and its money) being ignored.

You could probably run the english.xml file through a translator designed to deal with coded files. It is quite large though, chances of formatting getting broken somewhere is likely pretty high.
Might be worth experimenting with on the version you've got. |
