Leagues play less games than configured
All leagues play less than the configured amount of games. Most 5-10 games below no matter what I do. No changes to league structure. Doesn't matter if fictional schedule is generated, any boxes ticked, or loaded from the xml file.
Please help. I haven't bought this game for two years because I was frustrated that things like this never seemed to go away. |

You've provided no context for what you're trying to do, so it's impossible to help.
What is your league structure? How many subleagues, how many divisions, how many teams. Are you trying to do interleague with an odd number of teams? I've never had a problem with schedules as long as there is a compatible one for what I'm trying to do. Try the massive schedules list to see if there's a compatible one for whatever setup you're trying to do. https://forums.ootpdevelopments.com/...d.php?t=324385 |

BUT, what usually causes this is the schedule generator was used and either it wasn't set to balanced schedule or interleague was turned on and the built in schedule generator won't handle it well. If it was a standard MLB setup... every league has a schedule set up by default so don't know what would cause this. |

Everything is default MLB setup. I haven't changed a thing.

Out of around 10 sims the MLB played a full 162 game schedule once but every minor league played at least 10 fewer games each time.

You're saying this has happened over multiple versions... but most people who play OOTP use a standard MLB setup, this would certainly be a much bigger issue.
You can probably upload your save and maybe have the devs take a look: https://support.ootpdevelopments.com...p-developments If you're choosing standard setup and making no changes, I can't think of anything that would cause it not to use the schedules already there. For now you could probably just import the default schedules under the league settings. |

If the schedule in the standard MLB setup didn't work, this forum, reddit, and discord would all be burning to the ground from mass riots.

There doesn't appear to be anything relevant in that link when it comes to creating a standard MLB game in this version of the game. It isn't even stated anywhere that it was an MLB start to begin with. Yes, it's a known concern that if you have an odd number of teams in leagues that an appropriate interleague schedule is required, because interleague games need to occur at all times, something that the schedule generator cannot properly handle on its own.
That said, if you start a standard MLB game right now, in 27, and don't change anything, the schedule and games played works just fine without having to do anything. |
