OOTP 27 crashes while playing out a game

I had this problem in OOTP 26, so I hoped that maybe OOTP 27 would resolve it, but I imported my save into 27, simmed the offseason and spring training, and tried to play through my first game of the year.

And it crashed while playing through in the first inning.

Do you have a trace file from a run that crashed?

There seems to have been an error in playing one of the sound files. The trace may tell us which one, if it's a specific one causing an issue (in which case you may be able to simply delete that file and proceed). It also may be a general error with the sound on your machine or something with your OS. If you disable the sound in your game, that may be a way forward as well.

I checked and I didn't have the trace file enabled.

So I enabled it and was able to play through a game without it crashing. That's been typical of this bug: sometimes it shows up and sometimes it doesn't. Every time it happens, it happens as the pitcher is throwing a pitch, so if it's a sound file, it might be related to that.

If I get a trace file from a crash, I'll come back and share it here. Thanks for the help.

If you have other trace files in the folder, can you attach them to a post as well? You don't have to paste in-line, it's often easier to use the go advanced option, and then use the paperclip to attach the files.
