OOTP 27 crashes while playing out a game
I had this problem in OOTP 26, so I hoped that maybe OOTP 27 would resolve it, but I imported my save into 27, simmed the offseason and spring training, and tried to play through my first game of the year.

Do you have a trace file from a run that crashed?
There seems to have been an error in playing one of the sound files. The trace may tell us which one, if it's a specific one causing an issue (in which case you may be able to simply delete that file and proceed). It also may be a general error with the sound on your machine or something with your OS. If you disable the sound in your game, that may be a way forward as well. |

I checked and I didn't have the trace file enabled.
So I enabled it and was able to play through a game without it crashing. That's been typical of this bug: sometimes it shows up and sometimes it doesn't. Every time it happens, it happens as the pitcher is throwing a pitch, so if it's a sound file, it might be related to that. If I get a trace file from a crash, I'll come back and share it here. Thanks for the help. |

If you have other trace files in the folder, can you attach them to a post as well? You don't have to paste in-line, it's often easier to use the go advanced option, and then use the paperclip to attach the files.
