Any chance these are just an issue with my laptop? Sometimes, the play looks odd during gameplay, but then displays correctly in the replay. That makes me feel like something is up with my laptop. Or maybe it looks odd during gameplay and the first time replaying it, but then looks fine during the second time replaying it.

Yes! Infield back, grounders to SS or 2B should not throw home. I've set defense to DP depth and they still throw home.

This was in Go: visually the ball is a soft pop up that somehow falls right behind the pitcher. Play by play says it dropped in front of the left fielder.

Do those codes get copied in Go as well as the computer version?

I recently started having issues with the gameplay being really choppy. The movement of the players is choppy and the ball flight is all out of whack. I have a windows surface pro 7 and this wasn’t an issue prior. Is anyone else possibly having similar issues and/or suggestions?

3D ballpark issue (transferred from 26 to 27)
I have a Cape Cod Baseball League (feeder league) that I imported into 27 from 27. I am getting the following message:

"Unable to setup the 3D stadium and player models. Please ensure the critical stadium and player model files are correct and restart the game. If the problem persists, enable debug mode in the Settings dialog, try again and check the data/debug/assimp_log.txt and data/debug/ootp_trace_XXX.log files."

I'm also getting this message when I click "3D Model" when I try to click through ballpark settings:
"Unable to enable OpenGL - OpenGL is disabled. Re-enable now?"

When I click yes, OOTP freezes.

Can someone translate this? I use a Mac and I'm currently using Tahoe ...

I don't understand what it's telling me to do... I downloaded the stadiums from this forum a few years ago.

Any guidance would be greatly appreciated!

Ive noticed that when a right handed pitcher throws a pickoff to first base the ani looks kinda funky. Almost like a left hander is doing it. Strange looking. Check it out.

I think the helmets should revert back to what it was last year. The helmet colors need to be fixed first before you can put logos on them. Here is the Cardinals batter wearing a home helmet instead of the away helmet. Also instead of red stripes, I get this red blotch on the helmet. And it's funny that it only happens to right handed batters. Left handed batters don't have that blotch. I know you've heard a lot about helmets but it should revert back to last year until it's done the right way. Helmet colors first, then you could put the logos on them. Because for a lot of teams home and away are different colors.

I think the helmets should revert back to what it was last year. The helmet colors need to be fixed first before you can put logos on them. Here is the Cardinals batter wearing a home helmet instead of the away helmet. Also instead of red stripes, I get this red blotch on the helmet. And it's funny that it only happens to right handed batters. Left handed batters don't have that blotch. I know you've heard a lot about helmets but it should revert back to last year until it's done the right way. Helmet colors first, then you could put the logos on them. Because for a lot of teams home and away are different colors.

I haven't seen anything like your screen with my helmets. It works fine for me as designed. That is one helmet per team where I can control the color for bill, top, and the logo. The old way only had one helmet per team, there were no home/away/alternate helmets. Going back is not a fix for teams only having one helmet. All they need to do is expand the options to allow unique helmets for each uniform like we have with hats. It doesn't have to all be done at once. It can be started in one version and completed in future versions, the same way they did with socks and pants.

The answer is not to remove something that the vast majority of users are not having an issue with. Or others have and just haven't posted? The history of the boards suggests that's not likely. If the answer to graphics issues in the game is to remove them until they work for everyone then I have an issue with ballparks. I saw an outfielder run through the Green Monster at Fenway. I'd like all 3d ballparks removed and have the game go back to either 2d or text only. (Not really )

The answer is to let the developer try to figure out why you are seeing what you are seeing. You've taken the first step by posting in this thread with a screen included, but nothing on your OS/computer specs. Either way how about we give the developer a chance to look into it? Find out if others respond to your post saying they are seeing the same. Try to figure out why some systems/graphic cards may have the issue and find a fix.

I guess I made it all up because you can't see this and nobody else reports it. I must have the only computer in the whole wide world that see this. I reinstalled the game and I still get this. Sorry but just yes. It does happen. To me. Just because it doesn't happen to you doesn't mean that it's ok. Good for you, but bad for me so that makes it ok? You can't even admit they screwed this all up royally from the very beginning. Sorry that's what I see. I don't care anymore OOTP 26 is where I'll be.

I saw the same thing for one team in a league I built but didn’t like that league so deleted league and started another. All the helmets looked good in new league so I figured it was just a one off glitch.
