Can I help you create an Online League?

Hello! I've been working on a project called FHMNOW to provide a fully featured hosting platform for FHM online/multiplayer leagues. This would include a FTP server connection, a league website for on-the-go viewing, and even Discord bots, all accessible from your FHMNOW account.

Anyone who has looked into starting their own online league knows it is technically challenging. I'm hoping this platform can lower the barrier to entry for new commissioners and result in a more vibrant multiplayer ecosystem for FHM.

I'm looking for a few early adopters interested in integrating their leagues with FHMNOW to help me work out the bugs. I'd be happy to commit six months of hosting free for your league since these early signups help me with fine-tuning things on the backend. After that, no commitment to transition to a paid subscription. You can walk away if you don't think it's worth it. Your league can be brand new or already existing, modern, historical, custom - doesn't matter to me! Even if it's just you and some friends playing against mostly AI teams, let's do it.

Commissioners have their own accounts and upload their CSVs right on the website, and that updates their league site on the fly. Your FTP server connection details are also accessible from the admin account right on the website. Discord bots are still in development but will be ready soon.

Project Updates:

Discord Bots

We have Discord Bot integration working! Here's a look at how it works-



After connecting the bot to your Discord server, you just populate the channel name and click "Publish". Doing so will send the current Standings, Points Leaders, Calder Race leaders, etc etc etc to your Discord server.



I have more ideas on how to improve the Discord integration, so I'll update this thread once there are new developments.

UI Upgrades

The website UI has been steadily improved over the last few weeks, including improvements to the Team Homepages, League Homepages, Team Lineups (see below), and many more pages. Feel free to browse around!



Over the past few weeks, I've added two leagues to FHMNOW which I'm pretty excited about. One is a longstanding multiplayer league with a full GM roster. They mostly wanted to take advantage of the website. The second league is a small group of friends who wanted to play together against mostly AI. This is a brand new league where the commissioner had no prior experience and no FTP server, so I got him set up with a FTP server connection in addition to the website. Onboarding these leagues helped me identify and resolve some technical quirks, and overall their onboardings went well. Here's League 1 and League 2.

With that said, I'm still looking for early adopters to use this platform for free until the FHM13 release later this year. Like I described above, early adopters help me improve the website and get the word out. Please reach out if you're interested!
