How to Turn Off - BNN Stats Emails?

I ask this every year, how can I turn off the useless, repetitive BNN Stats messages?

I don't want to see them every few days. They serve no purpose in my league. Who cares which 6'2" first basemen had the most hits and all the other spam emails from BNN.

Unfortunately, turning off BNN News Stories also turns off a lot of other stuff, so that is not a solution.

I keep hoping OOTP staff split those messages into another option for the player to be able to set stuff for how they play, but so far, not done

Struggling with this as well. I skipped 2026 and have been playing 2025 for the past few years so I forgot the settings I used for messages.

Struggling to make it so I only receive news on MLB and my organization. Also can't figure out how to receive monthly player development report.

I want to turn off the 2-3 dozen useless emails a week.

I know there's a filter on the messages screen. Just check all the circles of the news you like right there. Hope that helps.

I know about those, but they also turn off many other useful emails.
I only want to turn off the BNN ones about the best 6'+, 250lb+, green alien that plays 3rd base in the league with the most strikeouts in spring training.

And the ones showing the BNN career best with all the old time records that will never be broken because MLB changed the rules that allowed them. You know, the ones where every player is from before 1910. I'm playing modern MLB, I don't care about those stats and want to turn them off. Not be forced to delete dozens of them every few weeks throughout the year.

Very disappointing to know that others have the same issue and it just doesnt seem to be dealt with. Its not that big a deal, but just kinda irritating. Breaks the rhythm of it and frustrates for no reason. I mean who's even asking for these messages? It looks like a random SQL query

Yes. It's these type of QOL changes that needed to be made versions ago.

I also want to turn off the Advanced Stats. They take up so much space while providing zero value. I just want a on/off toggle to hide/unhide them. I play like it the 80's when these stats did not exist.

It's worse in this version, because previously you could avoid them by turning off BNN News Stories. Now, if a player on your shortlist happens to be one of the leaders for triples on Wednesdays in June, you still get the email even with it turned off.

I would love this. Mainly because my laptop screen just can't handle all that real estate being taken. I'd love to play the latest version but with the front end of '26.

Have you tried setting the drop down to "News from your team only" ?

I like to follow the world news and i have 40 leagues, the BNN emails with the did you know stats would be nice, but I just skip them and delete. It would be nice to have a toggle to get rid of those so i don't have 57 of them for all of my leagues.

Right, but I want news involving shortlisted players. If there were a "Disable Stupid BNN Stats Emails Involving Shortlisted Players" button I would press it, but it's all or nothing.

Agree with this thread. Would love an option to keep every other email type except for BNN stats. These seem to come multiple emails at a time with a top 5 of some random statistic - and I typically delete them all without reading.

Turning off BNN News Stories gets rid of other email as well, which I do not want. Just want to disable the BNN Stats emails.
