The Pirates beat the Superbas in a walk off, as a 12th inning wild pitch by Jesse Baker allowed the inning run in a 4-3 game.

Brooklyn had a number of people leave the game with injury.

Al Shaw has a strained oblique that isn't too serious, but he is likely done for the season.
Burt Keeley's condition is unknown.
Eddie Higgins will likely miss a week, so he may or may not get another appearance.

A couple of our Minor League players have announced their retirement.

Colby Balloun - Never got above AA. Had two stints in the Superba organization. The most recent was a Minor League contract signing in September of 1912.

Stewart Reid - Played one game in AAA. Had two stints in the Superba organization. The most recent was coming from the Giants in the Ed charger trade.

Chick Evans left the game with shoulder pain. We are told it isn't too serious but he will likely be shut down for the remaining games.
