Why can't there be a selection to use/or not use batting helmets in Modify colors and uniform section so that they can be turn on and off depending on the on the year of a historical game?

I agree things should be era appropriate. Batting helmets should not be used before their time. Like Chief Wahoo should not be used after his time.

The Chief is historical and should always be remembered!

I have been wanting this since they gave us helmets in the first place. The difference between home, away, alternate and city connect or any other you wish to add should be fixed also. Waiting years for this.

A lot of us have wanted this, and I believe the day helmets were introduced in a patch is the same day the option to use or not was posted in the suggestion forum.

Let's hope v28 not only has the option to use caps for historical play, but also adds a tab for helmets that does for them what the hat tab does for caps.
