Does RNG look at each of 6 cards and make the ratio gamble on each, or does the algo look at the entire roll and assign probability to the roll? Is there a weighting added for/against cards already in database? Do the algos drop bread crumbs that reweigh results based on the game play, PP usage and RM usage 'signature' up to that roll?

The odds shown on the pack are per card, except for the guaranteed card from each pack. There is absolutely no weighting or re-weighting involved based on PP usage, gameplay, and whatever "RM usage 'signature'" means.

With OOTP 26 I lost interest in September, https://forums.ootpdevelopments.com/...66#post5212666 at 1,192,590 perfect points, 5240 clubhouse points, and 194 packs to open -- 2 historical rainbow packs, 3 historical perfect packs, 3 perfect packs, 80 historical diamond packs, 68 historical gold packs, and 38 historical silver packs.

Did it stop at 105 last year? Maybe that means people should wait for 106 this year.

Honestly I'm already losing interest this year. PDs feel extremely random and can't get consistent results on them, so I can't get clubhouse pts. I've already basically stopped with those, so it's a matter of time before I stop with the PT as well. Something feels kinda boring this year. Close to finishing up Live missions (a couple of missions away) and I'm just hoarding packs at this point. Not really worth opening them for a few weeks now, and it's boring to "save packs" for a few weeks.

Plus when I preordered it said I would receive an email with a download link when the game released. Never got it and never looked at the forums until a couple of days later so I missed the first week of PT.

I do wonder the selection process for teams that are going to PeL next week. I've been in the top-4 of my leagues each week and I'm just in Low Gold after missing just the first week.

It'll be the top 9 players from each of the four High Diamond leagues this week.

Yep. Played for years but never preordered. Always bought off Steam. So when the ootp site ordering system sends a receipt that says, and I quote "We will provide the download links to both the public beta and official release via email to the email address that you used for this purchase" you'd think they would send a link, right?

I am confused. To the untrained eye, your post might sound like you're telling me it's my own fault? Is that what you're implying?

Awesome, glad you got emails! Here's what I got. Mar 4 was the preorder receipt. Mar 15 was when I finally emailed support. They sent the "link to manage your orders" then the reply to my support email. Don't see anything between those? Because there wasn't anything.

Just trying to understand. But I know Steam users were handled differently. Not sure when steam was released or if there was a discount. Sorry for any confusion.

This hurts my soul as a collector. When I quit at the end of last season, I made sure to open all my packs and sell every card I could at face value. If I couldn't finish every mission, at least someone else will be able to.

...of course, I then spent that money on doing other missions, and got a 104-Max Scherzer variant card or whatever, which is great, the best card I ever get and it's only after I gave up, but that's not the point of this story.
