I will say that the draft classes I have seen in the latest patch are nowhere near as loaded as what I was seeing earlier. Earlier I had classes with 25+ 5 star players but the last two classes have not had a single 5 star.

It's not that I'm rushing through seasons, as I play relatively slowly—though not at all like Sweed—but what I've seen so far is positive.
I've also run several test simulations with good results. Is it perfect? No, but what in life is? Is it better than OOTP 26? Yes! Is it better than OOTP 27 at launch? Yes! If it can be tweaked further, then we might start getting close to 'perfect'. I've played OOTP since 2018 and, apart from the first version I played, I don't think I've ever started playing the latest version this early. |

For example, for the way I play, OOTP26 was significantly better at launch and at mid-cycle than by the final version. This is not a criticism of the developers in any way. This is a complex sandbox game maintained by a small team, so even though OOTP is generally moving forward, you never know if the next patch is going to be another step forward or a step back. |
