The only one that has some merit would be #2, since the game has a history (in sepia, but anyway) with pitcher rules for thee, but not for me: spitballs. The last legal spitball wasn't thrown by Burleigh Grimes until some 15 years after they were outlawed.

On the other paw, the strike zone was *always* supposed to be the same for every hitter (depending on height), and the width of the plate doesn't change just because you're on the Dodgers, ideally.

No, I'm happy with what we have now. And if it kills the careers of a few bad pitchers and umpires on the way, it's even better for the game.

Got nothing to do and after watching the Mets' game from last night went to the archive on MLB TV and got to see Boom-Boom Diaz *blow* a 3-run lead to the Rangers at Dodger Stadium.

In May 2019 I watched him *blow* a 3-run Mets lead to the Dodgers at Dodger Stadium.

The cycle is complete.

Through six innings, pitching great, pitch count only at 70, and you have to take the guy out because the analytics told you to. Tired of this. And these new "state" connect jerseys the Brewers have are straight dog poo.

On the plus side, we're 2+ weeks in and I am liking the ABS system. It's quick and efficient. Give them more challenges.
