Every pack that I open is 6 duplicates now, am I better off not opening any packs for awhile? I own almost 2,000 cards so far. (Got lucky with a few big hits that sold for big... 99 OVR Variant DeLauter)

dupes are useful for building up live spec and mission spec coffers: packs are very valuable if you consider the highest price you will sell cards at, as opposed to their right now price

Opening 300 to 500 packs with few benefits is a game killer.

Some new tournaments were just added this week, others were expanded. No need to jump on so many tourneys early, there's more inventory to fill.

Last year, 5000 packs was good enough for 100% 105s minus 1. Only one 105 catcher, you see, and you need two. Still, slightly below .500 in PeL because some 104 variants are better than some 105s.

Did 200+ consecutive days last "year". Total spent about $700 ($500 in early July for catch up and a few Spotlights)


Post October was misery, with massively inflated database (every garbage LIVE MLB making rips stupid).


OOTP needs retirement system to improve 'drop rate'.


Turning 100+ packs/week in tournaments Aug to Feb, 'legally' hacking the system, entering every game.


If they just dealt with the pain of <more $$ = success>, this could be Classic Warcraft Good.

My last season roster gone this morning, replaced by a LOW DIA roster I saved for a tournament. Career stats for 50%+ of my former players gone.


Spent an hour trying to restore.


1st time in many PT versions this game breaker has happened to me. At least, we need a SAVE Roster function to restore. I do save custom lineups and photo my Pitchers but it still sucks.

This Quick tournament, update to PT 26 Snapshot, is a pain because we can't choose 3 conditions in the Card Shop.


Entering every one, and it's a card maker, but waiting 2 to 4 hours for some contests. Even overnight, not seeing more than 1 to 3 entries.

The number of BUY orders show how many are still ripping packs.Like weekends at Las Vegas trading off welfare checks.

Current set of cards is so mid. It's a bad start to PT, bad release set.

It's an excellent release set: it's extremely balanced, there aren't standout cards and it allows more decisionmaking. do you want an obvious choice in each tier? no. this is the best launch set that PT has ever had.

Agree. There are some real choices to be made, particularly when looking at the BABIP machines with no power versus guys who give up some BABIP but can hit it out of the park. Same applies to pitchers. On-base suppression or home run suppression? A lot of times, you can't have both.

Over 600 packs open now. Reward: risk still sucks. Getting 1-2 usable over 100 packs. That's $60 to $100 in real money. No thank you.


I, like many, have already abandoned Iron, Bronze and even Silver because whales have already maxxed out variant restrictions.

Disagree. Balance just means you're just playing blackjack with others who know the same basic strategy. It's all just random chance then.
