Screen tough to read -- eye strain

Just downloaded the new version last night and only beginning to mess around with it.
In the preseason of the 2035 season in a franchise moved over from OOTP26, so I am a long way from game play.
But I am finding my eyes straining to read the screen. like the point size of the wording is smaller.
Do I need to upgrade by 1.00 readers or is it something else.

It's not the issue on post 3 here is it?

If on a PC, give it a try. After you turn the DPI to always off, I think you need to close the game and reopen it to see the effect.

I had to increase font size in the game for the first time ever. The change is not massive, but I definitely felt strain looking at player profile pages. Do check out the new settings for the rating bars, which can help.

With more information on the profile pages, the advanced stats and some other moving parts, definitely turn DPI always off and see if that helps. It still will likely invoke some eye strain if you aren't using an external monitor. I haven't been able to reconcile fully with it being as comfortable to read as previous versions to this point on my laptop screen.

Same here. Turn off DPI (which is a normal option each version) and increase font size (first time in this version as default font is really small). The color combo choices are also difficult to read at times. Ver 26 colors were much better.

How do you turn off dpi and increase font size? Thank you!

See post 2 above. Don’t is also accessible via the Settings. Just a different tab than tab with the DPI.

My eyesight is fine but I've gone with Increased font to make it more comfortable. On a 1080p screen,.dpi on/off didn't change much for me

My goodness, what have they done to the screen display.
My eyes feel like they are bleeding.
Been playing almost every night for more than a decade -- sometimes up to six hours straight -- never had an issue with eye strain.
I am continuing a franchise from OOTP26, so I spent the first three days going through the off-season.
Dealt with some eye strain in the roster screens etc., but made some adjustment which seemed to offset it.
Finally, played my opening day tonight and I could barely get through it.
It's not like I took time off. I was playing OOTP27 as recently as Friday with no issues.
But if I can't fix the settings on gameplay. I may have to call it a career as my eyes feel like they're on their last legs.
This is really bad. At least for me, it is almost unplayable.

I love people complaining about settings issues. Change your settings. Get too many injuries? Turn them off! Can't see the screen? Change the font!!
