Obviously like you said it's not anything that could arrive within the first few patches. I'm just trying to get a sense of whether you're talking about June to July or more long term like Go 28.
Yeah a force trade button I'll almost certainly get into Go27, probably after a couple patches, but a full commish mode will most likely be aimed at Go28 due to the likely work involved

So it's definitely soemthing that I'm aiming to add eventually, but it won't be in the app on launch and I don't think I would be able to squeeze it in in the first few patches.
But given how strongly everyone wants the force trade, maybe I can do just that for now. But would need to make sure I'm not breaking anything so wouldn't be a first patch thing.

In terms of the historical rookies, if you own the next season it'll automatically import the real players
Totally understand on commissioner mode, but thats terrific that “force trade” could be an option - it would really help with the historical replays.

And that’s great on the real rookies - just to clarify, is there a way to turn off the draft and have them assigned to real teams?

Really appreciate all the work and the way you are working to get so many of our requests included!

Yes just go to “Rules” to disable the amateur draft and then go to “historical” to assign rookies to their real teams.

Thank you, I’ve struggled with figuring out how to do this. Just to clarify, is that a league setting or do i have to do it after the import?

To your question, if you haven’t levered the “advanced” option in franchise settings before, it will blow your mind at all the extra changes available in the options. Like finding hitting randomize team names 3x in the pre-trademark days.

Only downside is once you like it, each franchise setup always takes a bit longer to reset it to your desires.

I believe this could be the route in historical franchises (good to have all the years purchased of course.)

MLB / League rules & settings / View / Advanced mode.

Rules tab - ✅ Disable Amatuer Draft. Then, historical tab - ✅ enable automatic import historical rookies.

Others please correct me if I am wrong?

I think the comments above are correct on the draft setting stuff

I'm glad I can get feedback and chat with everyone. I feel really bad about this delay, so at least trying to fit in some small requests is something I have control over and can work on in the meantime. Nothing new to report unfortunately

Hope everyone is having a happy Easter, or if you don't celebrate, a good long weekend at least

Yeah Google Play isn't enamoring itself to Go 27 customers.

This is great, I would love a Force Trade button. I actually tried to set up this year's Brewers roster in the previous version but the AI refused to accept the Freddy Peralta trade. Guess the computer thought that the Brewers totally fleeced the Mets (and the computer is not wrong, to be fair. lol).

Not sure if it's good or bad that it was approved in 20 minutes?

Maybe not great holistically for Google Play, but great for us!

I'm expecting/hoping to hear something back today or tonight.
As a peak behind the screen a bit, in all the years we've been releasing Go, the Apple review always has a couple questions. That's totally fine, but in the past the wait times after we respond have been between 24-48 hours. However this year that time has seemed to increase to 3-5 days. So even though I'm responding to the review as soon as possible, it takes them so long to get back with more questions.
