Can you think of reason why this won't work?

Thinking about starting a new project, but I'm wondering if it will work? About time for me to take a little break from random debut for a bit.

Historical league.
Real lineups
Real transactions

Here's the catch. I don't want to use the as played schedule. I want to use the alternate schedule that OOTP provides, so I'm guaranteed every team plays 162 games.

Anyone know whether the game will schedule tie breaker games if needed when using real lineups?

Now, I know this is going to cause issues in regards to pitchers tossing games at time without full rest, due to games being played out of order. Figure it's not that huge of a deal though, as injuries are turned off and only real injuries will take place.

Do y'all think this will work?

Other option is to simply turn off real lineups and just use real transactions. This might be the better option in terms of the final months of the season, as teams that were out of the real life pennant race, but are still in the OOTP one will still be trying to compete.
