Future Idea: Payroll Worksheet

One thing I find challenging in the game is managing player expenses during the offseason. It's tough to know how much money is available and what the impact of different personnel moves will be. I imagine many of us are using Excel templates to work through this.

I built a personal OOTP site over the last few months and added a payroll management page to attempt a "what if" type of analysis. If this could be integrated into the game in the future, I think it would be a massive addition using information already core to the game.

The hardest part of this was figuring out how the game handles minor league and partial contracts, but this lets me add extensions, new free agents, and track arbitration. It's only 95-99% to the dollar values in game, but it gets the job done.

I really wish the OOTP guys would update the financial aspect of the game. Been clamoring for it for years.
