A few contract and roster issues I've come across:

-Alexander Albertus is a free agent in the game but is still in the White Sox org in real life (https://www.milb.com/player/alexander-albertus-800316)

All contract info from Spotrac

-Joe Ryan's 2027 contract in the game is a team option with a $0 buyout. In real life, this is a $100,000 buyout, and is a mutual option (so should have an opt out after 2026)

-Josh Bell's 2027 option in the game is a team option with no buyout. In real life it is a mutual option (needs opt-out added) with a $1.25m buyout

-Victor Caratini's 2028 contract in the game is listed as a team option with no buyout. In rea life, this is a mutual option (needs player opt out added after 2027) with a $3.5m buyout

-Lourdes Gurriel's 2027 team option has a $0 buyout in the game. In real life, this is a $5m buyout

-Michael Soroka's 2027 contract in the game is $0 buyout and team option only. It is actually a mutual option with a $1m buyout

-Jeffrey Springs has a $0 buyout on his team option in 2027. In real life this is a $750,000 option

-Jeff McNeil's 2027 option is a $0 buyout in the game. In real life, this is a $2m buyout

I've actually yet to come across an option year in the game that is accurate to real life. I can keep going through these if helpful, but it appears options years need a full edit.

albertus is correct in our db, there are some import errors the dev team is working on to remedy this.

I have added the player opt outs mentioned above, Not able to do anything about the buyouts at this time.

limitation of the roster editor that we use for the game, hopefully it is something that can be looked at in the future

ah gotcha, thanks for the explanation. So every buyout for existing contracts will be $0?

Doesn’t make much sense.

Maybe someone will keep track of them all and update it somehow?

That’s a lot of work.

Agreed. Perhaps a dev could clarify further why it’s not currently possible to include something that we could edit manually ourselves?

Weird thing here. The first save I started had him as a first baseman. I have since deleted that save and started a new one (sometimes I can't decide what team to be) and he was a pitcher this time. I guess disregard my first post then. Not sure what happened.

In the Cincinnati Reds minor league system, it looks likes players who played for their Arizona Rookie League team in 2025 are having their stats double counted, with the stats being recorded at both the Rookie and MLB levels. It appears this is only affecting pitchers as well.

Shota Imanaga is set to hit arbitration following the 2026 season in-game yet in real life he accepted the qualifying offer and will be a FA.

Also, I think it's probably fair to remove the "Fragile" injury proneness from Aaron Judge, as he's played 148+ games in 4 of the last 5 seasons (the one season was a toe injury and he still played in over 100 games, nothing chronic).

Not sure how much priority is put into correct coaching staffs, but Brad Ciolek works for the Tigers now, not the Nationals. Instead, the new scouting director for the Nationals is Desmond McGowan, who does not appear to exist in the game yet.

This has already been corrected in our db and will show on the next roster update

That's a good point, done.

Gave Immanaga more service time too to prevent him hitting arbitration.

Paul Skenes is currently tipping the scales at 260 lbs. He also makes use of a splitter and a cutter,

I think that Skenes' pitching BABIP could be turned up a fair bit too. Last year he had a .273, and in his rookie year he had a .284. When I make my pregame edits I usually split the difference and give him a .282

Seth Hernandez also throws a slider, and he's been turning up the heat in velo recently. I'd set him to 97-99 MPH as his current velo with 99-101 potential
