Player eval settings/AI DFAs

So was doing a save and saw the Cubs DFAing a 55/55 Ben Brown. :/

I had put player evaluation settings at 40/30/20/10...my question is, would playing with the default, ratings-weighted settings (60/25/10/5) make this less likely to happen?

I don't know how much of a change that will make honestly as I firmly believe that the AI uses ratings the user can't see when it makes roster decisions.

Also is that what OSA has him rated or your scout? What is your scouting accuracy set at and when was the last time you scouted him?

Lastly, word of advice to keep your sanity...just pretend it's a storyline and he slept with the GM's daughter or was caught cheating at cards and the team just cut him. It will save you lots of headaches and lost sleep over why the AI makes certain roster decisions.

LOL.

Scout had him at 55 and I believe OSA had him at 50 or 55.

It's hard to say there is a problem out of 1 isolated case and without sufficient context. The real Ben Brown has put up awful traditional stats in 160 MLB innings. If you are telling the game to evaluate him based on those stats, then maybe your settings are contributing.

Also, did he get a ratings bump in your save? Because in mine he is not a 55/55 guy.
