Playing 2026 with current Rosters
Hello in settings is there a way to have actual transactions update automatically or a way to prevent trading so the stock Rosters stay as close to actual as possible? Thanks

Two different questions so I'll address them separately.
Question 1: Is there a way to automatically update transactions in real life in the game? Answer: No, not once you start a league. Once you hit create league it's fictional in that nothing that happens in real life is in game from that point on UNLESS you make the changes as the Commissioner and edit the game. Question 2: Is there a way to prevent the stock Rosters to stay as close to actual as possible? Answer: 100% and it requires you going to the settings and making a few selections: League Settings (it's the gear icon on the right hand side under your league) Functions -> SET ALL TEAMS TO NOT ALLOW AI ROSTER CHANGES Additionally you could have selected the option SET ALL TEAMS TO CONTROLLED BY [YOUR NAME] The second choice is for those who want total control over every team in the league; useful if you are a control freak or trying to run the league a certain way. Suggestion: If you want your league to mimic real life as much as possible then when something happens in real life turn on Commissioner mode and make the trade / transaction, etc. You can use the player edit function to assign guys to new teams to make a trade or in Commissioner mode you can select Act As one of the teams GM and go the trade then force the trade so it shows up as a transaction and news article.
