Best display settings for laptop?

I play on my laptop without an external monitor and am having difficulty finding a setting that doesn't strain my eyes trying to see tiny font. Some settings work ok even if the text gets cuts off somewhat in certain areas, but then using the same settings certain screens still have text that is unreadable as it is much much smaller, usually the report type screens, like team salary, etc.

Anybody play on a standard size laptop screen and can share what display settings they set in the global settings area of OOTP 27? My laptop is currently using 1920x1080 with 150% scale within Windows.

Thx

Would you please post a view during gameplay?
I'm 64 and all the fonts look very small. The gameplay header is so small it's hard to read strikes/outs/ etc.

Thanks

Same here. I have a 17" laptop and the fonts are too small and I don't like the UI at all, especially during games. The gameplay box is top left and far too small to read comfortably. The game play layout in OOTP 26 was much better. For me its currently not usable so I'm going back to OOTP 26 for now at least.

Yeah. I don't really post much unless there's something I find within the game that might be of interest bug-wise but it seems that some of the screens are just not feasible for use on a laptop screen.

Some seem ok but then the ones that look like the team salary screen, ie: whatever format that is are unreadable. I haven't played out a game yet but if the in game screens are similar as you say where they are too difficult to read on a standard laptop screen that would be disheartening. I always play on the couch on my laptop and not near an external monitor as I find it relaxing to play before bed.

My view in Game

I have a 15 inch lap top. Here's my view with the aforementioned settings. Don't know why the widgets aren't visible in the screenie.

This is maximum font size according to the settings. No idea how to get it to be readable on my laptop at this point. Totally lost lol. The non-zoomed in version of that pic is how it looks. I'd love it if it looked like the zoomed in version lol. Either way it's weirdly way smaller than any other text on this screen. Same with some other screens, the fonts differ greatly from one screen to another in a number of cases making some perfectly fine but others impossible to read. It's very odd. Never saw this in previous versions.

Thanks Bigdummie! DPI always off solved my font issues! I'm assuming I must have had that setting off on '26 as well but had forgotten about it, thinking font size was the global fix.

Cheers

Turning off DPI definitely made the font larger but now on the lineup page some of the headers overlap. 15" laptop screen running W11, 2560 X 1600 ,150%,display scale. Default interface settings

Glad to have larger fonts though! Thanks for the tip

I do this a lot, not for readability purposes, but for having it open on another monitor. Ease of changing font size on the fly in the browser window is a nice benefit though.

I'm actually the opposite. I'm not a fan of stuff like the overflow of the transaction log opening in the browser tab because I find it will keep re-opening the same window unless I'm quickly able to click another section of the page to prevent the game from attempting to re-open the log again.

It seems a lot of folks play on monitor screens which is mildly surprising to me actually as I prefer to play lying down lol. It's a comfy game!
