Database Issue Not Saving - Plenty of Disk Space

I started a new Fictional League, I simulated about 40 seasons. And I came back to this message. It doesn't clear, I can continue on, but cannot save.

"Please Read

OOTP Successfully restored the database files. Your database is NOT saved yet. Please check the disk space and league folder then try again."

I have 500GB of space available. What am I missing?

Most likely the game is saving to your OneDrive folder and that is out of space.

Lukas, I don't think so. Even my onedrive has space, and none of my OOTP files are on there. I looked through those instructions didn't see any issues.

I moved my saved games anyway and I'm moving along again. But, I still don't think I'm linked to onedrive. Unless Microsoft is backing up without my knowledge to space I'm not paying for.

It might be linked to something like saving in a folder without permissions then. f.e., a systems folder like programs files.

Or a folder that for some reason is blocked by an antivirus or anti-malware program.

It's something to do with saving in a folder where there is either not space or improper permissions for some reason though.

Lukas, its definitely none of that. Only happens when I sim decades at a time. Not when I go daily. I ran one in OOTP25 for 200 years and had no issues. There's a bug here.

I have not seen this in 27 but I've seen this error in past long sims on past OOTP editions. I think it was all the files being generated in quantity and in a short time that triggered something. Windows Defender or something else, I forget. See if whitelisting has been done regardless. Or go to Game Settings and the first tab where you can elect not to save each and every thing just to get the file count (regardless of size) down.
