Willson Contreras is listed as a catcher primary and defaults to the BOS primary catcher. Honestly I don't think he should even have a catcher rating anymore...I don't think he'll ever catch again.

He was playing 1b for them in our tests, so completely missed that. Not sure what changed. Anyway, I think it does make sense to remove it.

-Brandon Woodruff will be hurt to start the season
-Jackson Chourio has no position ratings at CF when he played 755 innings there last year (also think he should have better outfield defensive ratings, he had 2 OAA there)
-Brice Turang might be deserving of a little power boost, he hit 18 HRs last year
-Chad Patrick's ratings in my opinion are a little too low
-Maybe Jett Williams or David Hamilton could get some position ratings at 3B? Both of them have never played there but could this season for the brewers but understandable not to
I removed Lockridge's exp at 2B. Latest on Woodruff I have read is that his status is TBD so we will hold on that for now (subject to change). Chourio does have ratings for CF. Lukas generally handles all of the rating adjustments so I will defer to him on raising ratings on him, Turang, and Patrick. I did go ahead and give exp to Hamilton and Williams at 3B as they have been working there this spring especially Hamilton who has been primarily playing 3B.

Furthermore, he’s from Valencia.

A couple of Cardinals injury notes.
Cooper Hjerpe is listed as out for 2-3 months when most reports I've seen have him missing the entire first half of the season

Zack Thompson should probably start the year injured as he is still rehabbing after off-season shoulder surgery

And I think an argument could be made that Hjerpe, Tekoha Roby, and Tink Hence could probably be listed as fragile considering the multiple arm injuries

not sure how deep into the draft you've gotten, but Vahn Lackey is significantly underrated from what I have seen.

Some scouts who have seen him play this season believe he could go in the top ten.
positional versatility, sure, but a real chance to stick behind the plate long term with the caliber of defense he plays.
some actually think he may go higher in the draft than his teammate and good friend Drew Burress.
Batting wise, 25-30 HR potential likely leads to a ceiling of more than 40/80, I'd think.

staying in the state of georgia, might also want to take a closer look at the profile of trevor condon. his power potential should be a bit higher, and gap power too.

his teammate Deion Cole, who I saw in person not long ago, speed needs to be in the 60's, OF arm I would put closer to 60 as well.

lastly, Kevin Roberts from Jackson Prep in MS- contact feels like it is in the right place, maybe lean a little closer to 50 than 45
Power I'd have at 70, CF is his likely future home defensively, and the speed is vastly under-rated here as well.

Just did a Facegen for 2026 draftee Caleb Deer. Game has him at 270 which makes it look obese. University of Kansas lists his weight at 245 and the FG looked perfect.

The draft guys are kind of there for the top ones and should be rated very roughly reasonably, but might be off somewhat.

They'll get a lot more work as the draft gets closer as we'll make repeated passes through to add missing guys and adjust ratings of guys already there based on performance and scouting reports.

Javier Baez should have some experience at 3B after playing 147.1 innings at that position last year.
Rafael Devers should have some experience at 1B after playing 249 innings (although with mixed results) last year.

I thought we'd mass imported some additional positional experience for MLB and higher minors based on last year, but it looks like somehow that import didn't take for a lot of players.

We'll take a look at redoing that.

Just fired up the game for the first time and after browsing the rosters (not a live start) I noticed that Payton Tolle (Boston) had his primary position set to first base. Pretty sure he's a pitcher.

Davis Wendzel should have a minor contract worth $850K if promoted, not a guaranteed major league deal

Also he should have 0.070 days of service time instead of 0

Will it just be the current draft class? 2027 is tiny and 2028 only has one player.. so future drafts will be barren of real players after the first season

Brad Ciolek isn't with the Nats anymore. Replacing him as Nats scouting director is a guy named Desmond McGowan

He does, in both cases. The contract is likely because you've advanced in your league and guys on MLB or 40-man rosters past OD get assigned MLB deals.
