Laptop Crash - Now What?

My laptop crashed mid-season. I can restart the laptop but I need a new one asap. I'm literally holding it together with tape.

How do I transfer my replay season without losing it? Also, do I need to repurchase the OOTP game or can I transfer that as well? Thanks.

no need to buy the game again. When you get the new laptop, follow the instructions here (going to the self-help license portal) and recover, if needed, your key and use it with the new computer. As to getting the .exe file, just download from the main thread here (the latest patch).

Here is the license wiki with some info to get started on that piece.

As to getting you game of the old one. Get in there. Go to the Main OOTP Start screen, hit settings, go to the troubleshooting tab, go to Open folder containing saved games, there will be folders with the .lg extension. That is your save. Copy it to a jump drive. When you get the new laptop, put it back where you found it (but obviously on the new computer). Then use the load game function on the new computer and select that .lg file.

I usually just go to my Documents folder.
That is unless Microsoft has tricked me into turning One Drive on again.
No matter how many times i say no it still wants to return.
