MLBC is rebooting! Recruiting GMs for a fresh start in OOTP 27

The MLB Classic (MLBC) is a long-running OOTP league that is rebooting with the release of OOTP 27. We recently concluded our previous league iteration that had taken us from 2020 through 2065. Now we will be restarting the league with present day rosters upon release of OOTP 27.

We have a strong core group of about 20 GMs who have been together for over 5 years now and are continuing forward with the reboot. This is an opportunity to join an established and successful group and get in at the ground level with a fresh start!

Communication is via Slack
Daily sims at 9:30pm EST
League Time Per Sim: 7 days in regular season, 14 days in offseason
2-8 rating scale; No overall ratings
Scouting off (100% accuracy)
Coaching off
Draft pick trading allowed (only for the current/upcoming draft)

Astros
Rangers

1) Do you use budgets/market sizes or salary cap?

2) What is Slack?

Would love to know what the idea is behind 2-8 ratings scale and no overall ratings? Is that to focus more on stats? What does turning the scouting off achieve?

Yes, 2-8 creates a more interesting game that requires you to use stats, scouting reports, and ratings to make your evaluation. No overall makes it so there isn't just one number you can look at for evaluation and you have to make your own assessment of a player's quality based on the whole profile of ratings. Turning scouting off just means the ratings you see are 100% accurate. There is no scouting error
