The option to hide play-by-play during action is gone. Why?
I noticed that in this new version of OOTP, when playing out a game, the option to hide play-by-play during the action on the field is now gone, and it would be sincerely appreciated if the option to hide play-by-play during action was restored once again. The reason for me bringing this up is because if you're playing a game in pitch-by-pitch mode, there is certain content in the play-by-play window that appears at the start of a pitch that will tip off what is about to happen in the play. This only happens in pitch-by-pitch mode. I've reported this a number of times in the past in prior OOTP versions, and it was never addressed. So to deal with it, I've normally hidden the play-by-play window so that I don't know already what is about to happen before a pitch is thrown. But in this version of OOTP, it appears that the option to hide play-by-play during action is now gone. This is one that really bugs me due to being tipped off on what is about to happen in a play. Please restore this option.
Thank you. |

You can select to hide the top area during the game option. That option has not changed from before.

I see it now. The new layout is taking some getting used to after many years of the old layout. Thank you.
