When Scott Radinsky entered the game, the Jays had a 7-1 lead over the Tigers. When he left it was a 7-7 tie.
Gary Sheffield gave Detroit a two run homer in the 11th for a walk off, 9-7 win.

Vincent Ramey, Willie Greene, and Manuel Garcia all homered for Toronto.

Larry Morris pitched great after Radinsky left, but then he was pulled with two out in the 11th due to elbow pain. Word is that it is inflammation and that he will need a two week stay on the IL.

WP - Will Bird (3-0)
LP - Larry Morris (1-1)

Record - 28-32
